ABOUT TUKI HUCK — DISTRIBUTOR, YOONER NZ

I've been on snow since I was 4 years old. As a young athlete I was a sponsored skier competing in big air and slope style events. The mountain wasn't just where I played — it was my world.

Forty years on, I'm still there — as a ski instructor, snowboarder, and for the last 20 years, bringing groups of teenagers to the mountain every winter. I've watched hundreds of beginners struggle with skiing and snowboarding and never come back. Not because the mountain isn't for them — but because nobody gave them an easier way in.

That's why I became the NZ distributor for Yooner.

Thirty minutes to the chairlift. No ski boots. No falling. No frustration. I've watched complete beginners light up on a Yooner. I've seen injured snowboarders get back on the slopes they thought they'd lost forever. I've watched my own father — 75 years old, knees that finally gave out after 50 years of skiing — fall in love with the mountain all over again on a Yooner.

The mountain is for everyone. Yooner is how we get there.

Yooner NZ is the sole distributor for Yooner parts and products in New Zealand.

We deliver training for instructors, demos days, media tours and more.

The Yooner is made by TSL Outdoors, France. It has been in Europe since 2010 and in New Zealand since 2018.

Yooners are authorised at Snowplanet, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, Mt Hutt, Pure Turoa, Cardrona and Treble Cone ski areas.

Yooner access at Whakapapa currently on hold due to rerstructure.
